DescriptionThe primary role of an Associate Analyst Global Procurement will be to support procurement enablement teams by driving strategic and analytical projects. This position will work across different procurement division such as sourcing, contracting, systems support, buying to provide meaningful data-driven insights and automation / efficiencies across processes. This role will require strong analytical skills, multi-tasking, cross-functional collaboration and internal / external stakeholder relationship building. Job responsibilities: Create insightful reports, dashboards and other data products for key procurement areas and categories to enable data-driven decision makingSupport process improvement initiatives such as creating current and future- state process documents and owning automation efforts to increase efficiencies across groupsGather, organize and analyze data through various internal and external sourcesPerform ad-hoc data analysis and create presentations / reports for stakeholders and leaders, as neededBuild relevant skills and capabilities, such as best-in-class analytics methodologies, and foster a culture of excellence and continuous improvementPartner with Digital Technology / Advanced Analytics teams to drive complex initiatives Utilize AI tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Perplexity) to enhance daily work efficiencyThis position is offered on local terms and conditions. QualificationsMinimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or related experienceBusiness or quantitative field such as computer science, engineering, economics, statistics, math1 - 2 years of relevant experienceStrong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of informationStrong problem-solving, communication and people skillsWorking knowledge of Microsoft suite, visualization tools such as PowerBI / Spotfire and SQL data queryingSuperior attention to accuracy and detailExcellent written and oral communication skillsFamiliarity with Generative AI concepts and prompt writing.Exposure to AI platforms such as Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Perplexity, and NotebookLMPreferred Qualifications: Familiarity with writing complex queries in SQL / Python / Spark and other similar languagesFamiliarity with cloud data platforms such as Databricks, FoundryFamiliarity with advanced Microsoft Excel techniquesFamiliarity with airline operations, or procurement functionsProven comfort working with large/complex data setsExperience working with multiple stakeholders across teamsHands-on experience using AI tools in projects, internships, or work environmentsKnowledge of automation platforms such as Power Automate, Copilot Studio, Zapier, or n8n .
