Job Overview We are seeking an experienced QA Chemist to support production quality, manufacturing readiness, and factory capacity. This role will serve as a key technical approval authority for production release, ensuring products are manufactured consistently Key Responsibilities - Review factory production capacity, manufacturing schedules, and timelines to minimize production delays. - Monitor production plans to ensure complete quantities are manufactured according to approved orders. - Identify material or component shortages and ensure appropriate quantities are available for uninterrupted production. - Confirm timely availability of components and third-party filling or manufacturing services. - Review and approve master manufacturing instructions, batch manufacturing records, filling specifications, and final pack-out requirements. - Verify formulas, batch sizes, filling tolerances, assembly procedures, coding requirements, and inspection standards before production. - Review pilot batches, scale-up production, line trials, and process validation activities. - Monitor in-process quality controls, including filling accuracy, torque, sealing, crimping, capping, coding, assembly, and finished-product appearance. - Review and investigate production deviations, non-conformances, OOS results, and quality-related manufacturing issues. - Evaluate and support CAPA implementation and follow-up activities. - Approve, reject, quarantine, or require rework of finished production based on established quality requirements. - Confirm availability of bulk formula, packaging components, equipment, labour, production capacity, and approved documentation before manufacturing starts. - Track actual production output against planned capacity and production schedules. - Analyze yield, scrap, setup losses, rework, material shortages, damaged components, and overall production efficiency. - Maintain records of components damaged during filling or assembly and support documentation for factory chargebacks with Production Finance. - Identify and escalate quality, capacity, material, or manufacturing risks that could impact production schedules or customer deliveries. - Maintain accurate technical documentation and communicate production quality decisions clearly with contract manufacturers and internal stakeholders. Required Skills - Strong knowledge of GMP, production quality systems, and manufacturing controls. - Practical understanding of bulk manufacturing, filling, assembly, and finished-product release. - Ability to review and interpret batch records, manufacturing instructions, specifications, and production documentation. - Robust knowledge of in-process testing and production quality inspection. - Experience investigating deviations, non-conformances, OOS results, and implementing CAPA. - Hands-on experience with production quality, bulk manufacturing, filling, assembly, batch documentation, in-process testing, and finished-product release. - Demonstrated experience working with GMP requirements, quality investigations, deviations, CAPA, process validation, and manufacturing controls. - Experience supporting production planning, factory capacity assessment, and manufacturing readiness. - This position requires travel to South Korea for factory inspections about 6 times a year. - You must have a valid passport and meet visa requirements Compensation: 300,000.00 - 500,000.00 per year Application Question(s): - Are you an immediate joiner - What is your highest level of education, and in which field did you study - Describe your experience in cosmetic, personal care manufacturing - What is your experience with batch manufacturing records and production documentation. - Describe your experience with GMP, CAPA, and quality management systems. - What was your last verifiable monthly salary and expected salary - Do you have valid passport and ready to travel occasionally as per business requirements Work Location: Remote .
