We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Officer for Modern Trade to join our dynamic sales team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth, managing key accounts within contemporary retail channels (supermarkets, hypermarkets, convenience stores), and ensuring excellent product visibility and availability. This role requires a proactive individual with strong negotiation skills, a deep understanding of the up-to-date trade landscape, and a proven track record of achieving sales targets. You will play a crucial role in expanding our market share and strengthening relationships with our retail partners. Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets within assigned modern trade accounts. Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key decision-makers and store managers in modern trade outlets. Negotiate and finalize sales agreements, promotional activities, and merchandising plans with retail partners. Ensure optimal product placement, visibility, and merchandising standards are met in all assigned stores, adhering to company guidelines. Monitor inventory levels, manage orders, and ensure timely delivery of products to prevent out-of-stock situations. Conduct regular market visits to assess competitor activities, identify recent business opportunities, and gather market intelligence. Implement and monitor trade marketing initiatives and promotional campaigns to drive sales and brand awareness. Prepare and submit accurate sales reports, forecasts, and market feedback to the management team on a regular basis. Collaborate closely with the marketing and logistics teams to ensure seamless execution of sales plans and product availability. Train and guide in-store promoters or merchandising staff on product knowledge and sales techniques, if applicable. Resolve any customer complaints or issues promptly and professionally to maintain strong client relationships. .
