Job Description Data Modelling and Analytics Professional Location: Mumbai Mumbai Candidates Only Experience: 25 Years Working Days: 5 Days a Week Shift: General Shift Role Purpose We are looking for a Data Modelling and Analytics Professional to structure complex datasets, build robust analytical models, and generate actionable insights to support business and financial decision-making. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in data modelling, SQL, Python, Power BI, financial analysis, and business analytics, with the ability to work across financial, operational, and market datasets. Key Responsibilities Design and build analytical data models combining financial, operational, and market data.Define relationships, hierarchies, dimensions, and data structures across multiple data sources.Develop predictive, forecasting, and scenario-based models to support business decision-making.Extract, clean, transform, and validate large datasets using SQL and Python.Analyze financial statements, business drivers, profitability, and performance trends.Conduct company, sector, and peer benchmarking, similar to equity-research analysis.Develop dashboards and management reports, preferably using Power BI.Build and maintain Power BI data models for business reporting and analytics.Automate recurring data ingestion, validation, analysis, and reporting activities.Work with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into analytical solutions.Ensure data quality, consistency, accuracy, and reliability across analytical models and reports.Required Skills & Experience 25 years of experience in:Data ModellingData AnalyticsBusiness AnalyticsEquity ResearchFinancial AnalyticsRelated analytical rolesStrong hands-on experience in designing and building analytical data models.Strong experience with Power BI, particularly data modelling and dashboard development.Proficiency in SQL and Python.Hands-on experience with Python libraries such as:PandasNumPyScikit-learnStrong understanding of financial statements and business performance metrics.Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial analysis.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation skills.Ability to work with large and complex datasets.Preferred / Good to Have Prior FMCG industry experience is an added advantage.Experience with forecasting, predictive analytics, and scenario modelling.Exposure to financial modelling, valuation, or investment/equity research.Experience automating reporting and data-processing workflows.Ideal Candidate Profile The ideal candidate should be a data-driven analytics professional who can combine technical data skills with strong financial and business understanding. The candidate should be comfortable working with SQL, Python, Power BI, Excel, financial data, and business-performance metrics, and should be able to convert complex datasets into meaningful insights for management decision-making.
