As a Backend Developer, you will be responsible for defining software requirements, writing clean and efficient code for various cloud native applications, and running automated unit tests to improve system functionality. You will also implement and maintain applications throughout the software development life cycle using agile methodologies. To be successful in this role, the candidate should have excellent communication skills and be able to understand requirements and ask questions to clarify them. Candidature Requirements An Engineering graduate or Postgraduate from a recognized College / University. Strong aptitude, logical reasoning, and analytical thinking skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Keen attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills \ Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams using agile methodologies A values-driven individual who can think abstractly and take ownership of their work. Areas of Responsibilities: Build REST APIs using AWS Lambda and API Gateway. Develop Lambda functions using Python and/or Node.js. Design and deploy cloud infrastructure using AWS CDK (Infrastructure as Code). Integrate applications with AWS services including S3, ECS, ECR, DynamoDB, IAM, RDS, CloudFormation, Amplify and Cognito Collaborate with Solution Architects and Product Owners to deliver high-quality solutions. Participate in code reviews, testing, CI/CD and technical documentation. Troubleshoot and optimise application performance and reliability. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyse, design, and ship new features. Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code. Optimize APIs for maximum speed and scalability. Stay up to date with emerging trends and technologies in frontend development. Must-Have Requirements: Proven experience in followings Backend Developer for 5 to 8 years Python Developer for 5 to 8 years AWS Developer for 2 to 8 years Experience developing AWS serverless applications using Lambda and API Gateway Hands-on experience with AWS CDK or CloudFormation. Proven hands-on experience with Java and Java Spring Boot as mandatory skills Proven experience as Node.JS Developer for 2 to 8 years Experience with integrating RESTful APIs and JSON Familiarity with agile methodologies and version control systems such as Git Nice to Have Requirements: Experience with writing unit tests Experience in creating deployment pipelines on Gitlab/Azure Devops Experience in working with AWS platform on following services Experience on working with Monorepo pattern Knowledge of Docker and containerisation.
