Physician Billing AR Caller Job Title: AR Caller Physician Billing Location: Chennai Employment Type: Full-time Shift: Night Shift Industry: US Healthcare / Medical Billing salary : up to 5 lakhs per annum. Job Summary We are looking for experienced AR Callers with US Physician Billing experience to join our healthcare revenue cycle management team. The candidate will be responsible for following up on outstanding insurance claims, contacting insurance companies, resolving claim issues, and ensuring timely reimbursement. Key Responsibilities * Perform AR follow-up on outstanding US healthcare/physician billing claims. * Contact insurance companies to check claim status and payment details. * Identify and resolve claim denials, rejections, underpayments, and payment variances. * Analyze Explanation of Benefits (EOB), ERA and payer correspondence. * Follow up on unpaid and partially paid claims within the assigned ageing buckets. * Determine the reason for non-payment and take appropriate action for resolution. * Work on insurance eligibility, authorization, coding-related and claim submission issues when required. * Maintain accurate documentation of all payer interactions and follow-up activities. * Meet daily productivity, quality and collection targets. * Escalate complex claims and payer issues to the appropriate team. * Ensure compliance with company policies and healthcare billing procedures. Required Skills & Qualifications * Experience in US Medical Billing / Physician Billing / AR Follow-up. * Good knowledge of US healthcare insurance and payer processes. * Experience working with insurance companies and handling claim follow-ups. * Knowledge of denials, rejections, EOB/ERA and payment posting. * Good communication and interpersonal skills. * Good analytical and problem-solving abilities. * Basic knowledge of MS Office and medical billing software. * Willingness to work in a US night shift. Experience Preferred: 15 years of experience in US Physician Billing / AR Calling / RCM. Freshers: Not preferred unless they have relevant US medical billing training or experience.
