Lead Environment Artist

3D Game Artist Join Code_V Code_V is looking for a Lead Environment Artist to join our game development team! Were currently working on Gaia Genesis, a multiplayer hero-shooter featuring unique otherworldly animals, each with their own abilities, personalities, and visual identity. NOTE : THIS IS GOING TO BE A PROFIT SHARING ROLE. I.E. THE VOLUNTEER WILL BE GETTING THE COMPENSATION AFTER THE RELEASE OF THE GAME FOR UPTO 8 YEARS What youll do Create and lead the development of 3D environments, maps, props, and assets Establish environment art quality, style, and visual consistency Work closely with Game Designers, Artists, and Developers to build gameplay-focused environments Create modular environment assets and optimized game-ready assets Handle texturing, materials, lighting, composition, and set dressing Help define environment art pipelines and workflows Provide guidance and feedback to other environment artists Optimize environments for performance without compromising visual quality What were looking for Strong experience in 3D Environment Art for games Good understanding of Unreal Engine Proficiency in tools such as Blender / Maya, Substance Painter, Photoshop, or equivalent Strong understanding of composition, lighting, materials, and environmental storytelling Knowledge of game optimization and modular environment workflows Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks A strong portfolio showcasing game environments and props What You Get Work on an original multiplayer game IP Build assets for a game from the ground up Opportunity to work closely with a growing indie game studio Portfolio-building experience on a commercial game project Profit-sharing opportunity based on your contribution and involvement Location: Remote Engagement: Volunteer / Profit-Sharing Basis Linkedin : https://www.linkedin.com/company/code-v-games Compensation: From 10,000.00 per month Work Location: Remote .
