About the position As a Cloud and Platform Engineering Chapter Leader, you will blend deep Cloud Engineering knowledge with a passion for coaching, mentoring, and developing associates. You are committed to improving the value delivered to our customers by collaborating with other leaders to drive adoption of engineering standards, influencing strategic decisions, and building high-quality data streaming platforms. You will directly manage a team of engineers who work with the Event Streaming and Data Replication Platform. Build and manage cloud platforms, particularly Kubernetes. Collaborate with squad leaders and platform leaders to improve engineering maturity. Drive change across platforms, advocating for customer outcomes. Create data visualizations and present data to senior leaders. Share insights, knowledge, and industry practices across the organization. Identify and acquire talent needs, resource planning, and talent allocation. Requirements Previous line management experience. Proven knowledge and experience of building and managing cloud platforms. Hands-on experience with data visualizations. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Experience in identifying and acquiring talent needs. Nice-to-haves Certification in public cloud (AWS or Azure).
