Role Purpose The Regional Sales Director India is responsible for driving Taoglas overall sales strategy and revenue growth across the Indian market. This leadership role focuses on building a robust sales pipeline, developing strategic customer relationships, and expanding Taoglas presence with large OEMs, carriers, system integrators, and other key customers. The role includes direct management of a national sales team of three covering all regions of India, as well as oversight and performance management of multiple channel partners and authorized distributors. The Regional Sales Director will play a critical role in shaping go-to-market strategy, identifying new growth opportunities, and positioning Taoglas as a trusted long-term partner. Reporting To: VP of Sales APAC Key Responsibilities Own and execute the India sales strategy aligned with quarterly and annual business objectives.Lead, mentor, and support a direct sales team of three across India, fostering a high-performance, collaborative, and development-focused sales culture.Provide ongoing coaching, field support, and professional development to existing sales team members, including regular one-on-ones, deal reviews, and skills development.Set clear goals, performance expectations, and career development plans for the India sales team.Provide regional leadership and governance for channel execution in India, working in close alignment with the APAC Channel Director, who retains overall ownership of channel strategy and partner frameworks.Build, manage, and continuously update a strong sales pipeline across OEMs and channel-led accounts.Qualify opportunities, lead complex sales cycles, and close high-value deals.Identify and develop relationships with large OEMs, system integrators, ODMs, carriers, module vendors, and key end customers.Plan, write, and oversee proposals in response to customer RFQs, RFPs, and solicitations.Lead and manage contract negotiations through to successful closure.Drive new customer acquisition through cold outreach, site visits, partner engagement, and existing networks.Identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities across Taoglas antenna, RF services, and broader IoT portfolio.Collaborate closely with Taoglas engineering and R&D teams to support local customers with bespoke requirements, including customized antenna solutions, RF optimization, and application-specific designs.Jointly plan, forecast, and review channel performance with the APAC Channel Director, including revenue forecasting, pipeline visibility, and quarterly business reviews with key partners.Support partner enablement initiatives by ensuring distributors and channel partners in India are equipped with the right product knowledge, sales tools, and local market insights.Track, manage, and follow up on leads generated from trade shows, conferences, and marketing initiatives.Represent Taoglas at industry events, conferences, and symposiums, including presenting or speaking where appropriate.Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of opportunities, accounts, and activities in the company CRM system (SAP).Protect organizational value by maintaining confidentiality of sensitive commercial and technical information. Qualifications & Experience Bachelors degree or equivalent, preferably in Electronics, Electronics & Communications Engineering, or a related field.810+ years of proven sales experience in electronics, IoT, or related technology sectors.Demonstrated ownership of a sales portfolio in the range of USD 68M or higher.Prior experience selling antennas, RF solutions, or automotive electronics is highly desirable.Proven people management experience, including leading and developing sales teams.Strong experience working with channel partners, distributors, and indirect sales models.Experience using CRM and ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Salesforce, or HubSpot is an advantage.
