Job Description Mechanical Draughtsman Position Mechanical Draughtsman As-Built Drawings Location Lodha Parel, Mumbai Job Type Contract / Project-Based Job Overview We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Draughtsman to provide drafting support for the preparation and updating of as-built mechanical drawings for a project at Lodha Parel. Key Responsibilities Prepare and update as-built mechanical layouts based on site conditions and provided drawings. Add all as-built layout measurements accurately according to the drawing scale. Incorporate the approval matrix into the as-built layouts based on details provided by the client/SWPL staff. Remove the Sub-Drawing reference from all layout titles in the as-built drawings. Ensure the drawing legend correctly represents the locations and elements shown in the as-built layout, as guided by the client. Add the detailed Excel sheet to the as-built drawing, showing pipe sizes and quantities . Maintain accuracy, consistency and proper drafting standards across all drawings. Coordinate with the client/SWPL staff for clarification and incorporation of required drawing details. Review drawings for accuracy before final submission. Required Skills Strong knowledge of Mechanical Drafting and As-Built Drawings . Proficiency in AutoCAD . Experience in preparing MEP/Mechanical layouts . Good understanding of pipe sizes, quantities and mechanical services . Ability to interpret existing drawings and site/as-built information. Knowledge of drawing scales, legends, layouts and drawing documentation. Good attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to coordinate with clients and project teams. Preferred Experience Experience in building projects / MEP projects . Prior experience working on as-built drawing preparation will be preferred. Candidates with experience in mechanical piping layouts and detailed documentation will be an advantage. Project Details Site: Lodha Parel, Mumbai Levels: 5 levels Typical Floor, Basement, Podium 3, Podium 4, Podium 5 and Podium 6.
