Manager - Costing & Finance

Manager / Dy. Manager - Costing & Finance Location: Pune Qualification: ICWA / CMA Job Overview: Looking for a qualified CMA/ICWA professional with strong experience in costing, financial analysis, budgeting, MIS and manufacturing finance. The role will be responsible for monitoring costs, analysing variances, supporting business decisions and identifying cost-reduction opportunities. Key Responsibilities Manage product costing, including standard, process and job costing. Analyse production costs, material consumption, labour efficiency and overheads. Conduct actual vs. standard cost variance analysis and identify reasons for deviations. Prepare cost sheets, pricing analysis and profitability reports. Identify opportunities for cost reduction and operational efficiency. Prepare annual budgets, rolling forecasts and monthly MIS. Monitor budget vs. actuals and highlight key deviations. Analyse product/department-wise cost, margins and profitability. Manage inventory valuation and control for RM, WIP and Finished Goods. Monitor material usage, wastage and yield variances. Work closely with Production, Procurement and Supply Chain teams for effective cost control. Ensure accurate cost allocation and financial reporting. Coordinate cost, internal and statutory audits and ensure compliance with applicable standards. Strengthen internal controls, documentation and risk management. Desired Profile Qualified ICWA / CMA with minimum 4 years of relevant manufacturing experience. Strong knowledge of costing, cost analysis and financial management. Experience with SAP/Oracle or other ERP systems. Good command of Advanced Excel. Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
