Quality Head Injection Molding Location: Bawal, Haryana Experience: 8 to 15 Years Salary: 80,000 CTC per month | 9.6 LPA CTC Department: Quality / Quality Assurance Reports To: Plant Head / Factory Head / Business Head Industry: Injection Molding / Manufacturing Job Summary We are looking for an experienced Quality Head to lead the complete Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) functions at an injection molding manufacturing plant. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring consistent product quality, customer satisfaction, quality system compliance, reduction of rejection and rework, and continuous improvement across manufacturing and operational processes. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage the complete Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) function. Establish, implement, and maintain quality management systems, procedures, and standards. Ensure compliance with customer specifications, internal quality standards, and applicable statutory/regulatory requirements. Develop and monitor Incoming, In-Process, and Final Inspection systems. Analyze quality issues, customer complaints, rejections, and process deviations. Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA), CAPA, 8D , and corrective/preventive action initiatives. Monitor and reduce internal rejection, rework, scrap, customer complaints, and customer rejection/PPM. Establish and monitor quality KPIs including FPY, rejection rate, PPM, customer complaints, COPQ, and CAPA closure . Conduct regular process, product, and quality system audits. Coordinate and lead customer audits, certification audits, and statutory inspections . Ensure calibration and control of measuring and testing equipment. Develop and maintain quality documentation, inspection standards, work instructions, control plans, and quality procedures. Work closely with Production, Maintenance, R&D, Purchase, Stores , and other departments to identify and resolve quality issues. Evaluate supplier quality and support supplier development and improvement activities. Train, develop, and mentor the quality team on quality systems, quality tools, and problem-solving techniques. Drive continuous improvement using 7 QC Tools, SPC, FMEA, MSA, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and Lean Manufacturing methodologies. Review and approve quality standards for new products and processes, wherever applicable. Ensure effective implementation of customer-specific quality requirements. Prepare and present periodic quality performance reports to senior management. Drive quality improvement initiatives related to MACE, VSA, IATF , and other applicable customer/industry requirements. Required Skills & Technical Expertise Strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS) and manufacturing quality processes. Hands-on experience in RCA, CAPA, 8D, SPC, FMEA, MSA, PPAP, and APQP . Strong understanding of IATF 16949 and ISO 9001 requirements. Knowledge of MACE, VSA, customer-specific requirements, and automotive quality standards is preferred. Experience in conducting and managing internal, external, customer, and certification audits . Strong knowledge of quality documentation, inspection systems, control plans, and data analysis. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent leadership and team-management capabilities. Strong customer-handling and communication skills. Working knowledge of MS Excel, ERP/QMS software, and quality reporting systems . Experience in injection molding / plastic manufacturing / automotive component manufacturing will be preferred. Education B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Engineering with a relevant qualification in Quality Management preferred. Additional certification in ISO, Six Sigma, Lead Auditor, IATF, or Quality Management will be an advantage. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Reduction in customer complaints. Reduction in customer rejection / PPM. Reduction in internal rejection and rework. Improvement in First Pass Yield (FPY) . CAPA/8D closure within defined timelines. Audit compliance and timely closure of audit findings. Supplier quality performance improvement. Calibration and inspection compliance. Reduction in Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ) . Improvement in overall product and process quality. Timely submission of quality reports and documentation.
