Seeking a Business Analyst to support complex surveillance analysis and identify potential regulatory violationsRole serves as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical implementation teamsFocused on supporting surveillance-related initiatives within a financial/regulatory environmentMost surveillance workflows are highly complex and data intensiveCore ResponsibilitiesConduct complex analysis of surveillance data and workflowsHelp identify and investigate potential violations or anomaliesSupport UAT processes, including:Validation of releasesPackaging feedback and testing results from business usersBuild and maintain project artifacts, documentation, and release-related materialsRespond to business questions related to surveillance data and processesEnsure accuracy and quality of analytical outputs and documentationData & Technical SkillsStrong SQL experience requiredKnowledge of complex queries and window functions preferredAbility to perform complex data analysis and interpret findingsExposure to big data concepts and Spark is beneficialComfortable working with technical teams and translating business requirements into actionable solutionsGenAI & Automation ExpectationsActively leverage GenAI tools to improve productivity and efficiencyUse prompt engineering techniques to accelerate:DocumentationData analysisResearch and investigative workflowsMaintain accuracy and quality control while using AI-assisted toolsRequired Background5+ years of experience in a financial services or regulatory environmentStrong domain knowledge within surveillance, compliance, or regulatory operations is criticalExcellent analytical, investigative, and documentation skillsStrong problem-solving and communication abilitiesAbility to answer complex business questions using data-driven insights .
