Role Description Job Summary We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Systems Engineer to join our IT Infrastructure team. In this role, you will be responsible for the design, deployment, maintenance, and optimization of hybrid IT environments spanning on-premises infrastructure, Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, VMware virtualization platforms, and Active Directory services. The ideal candidate brings strong hands-on technical expertise, a proactive mindset, and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams to ensure secure, reliable, and high-performing systems. Key Responsibilities Infrastructure & Systems Management Design, deploy, configure, and maintain on-premises server infrastructure across physical and virtual environments.Administer and optimize VMware virtualization platforms, including host clustering, resource management, and workload performance.Monitor system health, capacity, and performance, proactively resolving issues before they impact operations.Manage hardware lifecycle activities, including provisioning, patching, upgrades, and decommissioning.Collaborate with end users and application teams to troubleshoot infrastructure-related issues. Azure Cloud & Microsoft 365 Operations Design, deploy, and manage Microsoft Azure infrastructure and cloud resources.Support Azure-based workloads, migrations, backup, disaster recovery, and hybrid cloud connectivity initiatives.Administer and support Microsoft 365 services, ensuring availability, performance, and user productivity.Manage hybrid identity environments integrating Active Directory with cloud identity services.Monitor service health, usage, and capacity across Azure and Microsoft 365 environments. Active Directory Administration Manage and maintain Active Directory services, ensuring secure authentication and access management.Support directory synchronization and hybrid identity integrations.Maintain user, group, and organizational unit administration in alignment with operational requirements. Network Support Support infrastructure teams with Routing & Switching activities related to connectivity, performance, and troubleshooting.Work with network fundamentals including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and related infrastructure services to ensure stable operations. Collaboration & Support Serve as an escalation point for complex infrastructure incidents and service requests.Participate in on-call support for critical infrastructure systems when required.Partner with application teams, security teams, and vendors to deliver reliable infrastructure solutions.Maintain system documentation, operational procedures, and technical runbooks. Required Skills Proficient M365AzureVMwareActive Directory Intermediate Routing & Switching Experience 5+ years of hands-on experience in Systems Engineering or Infrastructure Administration roles.Proven experience managing and supporting hybrid (on-premises and cloud) IT environments.Demonstrated experience with enterprise virtualization platforms and Microsoft Azure infrastructure services. Education Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
