The Recovery Head will be responsible for leading the end-to-end collections and recovery function for the organization across all branches and portfolios. The role requires strong expertise in secured lending products including Home Loans and Mortgage Loans, along with deep understanding of legal recovery mechanisms and CERSAI processes. The incumbent will drive portfolio quality, minimize delinquencies, manage legal recovery actions, and strengthen collections efficiency while ensuring regulatory and legal compliance. Mandatory Experience Requirements Strong hands-on experience in Home Loans and Mortgage Loans recovery. Mandatory exposure to CERSAI process and secured asset enforcement procedures. Experience in handling both Collections and Legal Recovery functions. Working knowledge of SARFAESI Act, legal notices, possession process, and recovery litigation. Experience in managing large delinquent portfolios and multi-location recovery teams. Key Responsibilities Lead overall collections and recovery strategy for the organization. Monitor portfolio delinquency, bucket movement, and recovery efficiency. Manage recovery operations for secured loan portfolios including Home Loans and LAP/Mortgage Loans. Handle legal recovery processes including SARFAESI proceedings, possession, auction coordination, and legal follow-ups. Ensure proper execution and compliance of CERSAI registration and related recovery procedures. Coordinate with legal teams, advocates, collection agencies, and branch teams for recovery actions. Drive collection productivity and reduce NPA levels across the portfolio. Develop recovery MIS, dashboards, and management reporting systems. Strengthen field collections processes and legal escalation mechanisms. Desired Candidate Profile Strong leadership experience in collections and legal recovery within Housing Finance / NBFC sector. Excellent understanding of secured lending and recovery laws. Ability to manage high-pressure recovery environments and critical delinquency cases. Strong negotiation, stakeholder management, and decision-making skills. .
