Hiring: Database Testing SME / ETL QA Engineer Are you passionate about ensuring data quality and preventing production issues We're looking for a Mid-to-Senior QA professional with strong Database Testing and ETL expertise to join our team. Key Responsibilities Validate data integrity across databases, ETL/batch jobs, and integrations Test stored procedures, triggers, transformations, and selection logic Build reconciliation and data quality checks (counts, joins, comparisons) Validate incremental/delta processing, reprocessing, and restart safety (idempotency) Investigate issues related to locking, deadlocks, and transaction handling Create reusable SQL validation scripts and detailed defect reports Collaborate with Engineering and SRE teams to improve release confidence What We're Looking For 58+ years of QA/Data Quality Testing experience with robust database expertise Advanced SQL skills (joins, aggregations, CTEs, window functions) Experience with stored procedures, triggers, ETL/ELT, and batch processes Understanding of transactions, locking, and deadlocks Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills Nice to Have SQL Server, Postgre SQL, Oracle, or My SQL experience API testing (Postman, REST Assured) Python scripting for automated validation CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git Hub Actions) Data pipeline tools (SSIS, Informatica, Airflow, dbt, ADF) Work hours - ET Business hours, 5 PM IST onwards.
