Purpose of the Position: We are seeking a highly experienced Senior QA Lead with over 10 years of expertise in designing, implementing, and managing quality assurance processes for complex enterprise applications. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in manual and automated testing, with hands-on experience in modern QA frameworks, tools, and methodologies. This role requires leadership qualities in defining test strategies, ensuring product reliability, and driving continuous improvement in QA practices. Candidate should deliver high-quality software solutions, demonstrate the ability to mentor teams, collaborate with cross-functional Indian and European teams. Based in India, Bangalore, this position offers the opportunity to work on large-scale projects with distributed teams across various development centres of KK-Group. Responsibilities: Define and implement comprehensive QA strategies, test plans, and test cases for web, desktop, and mobile applications.Lead QA teams, provide technical guidance, and ensure adherence to industry best practices.Work as an individual contributor delivering high quality QA assignments.Collaborate with product managers, developers, and architects to ensure quality standards are met throughout the SDLC.Drive automation initiatives using modern frameworks and tools to improve efficiency and coverage.Ensure performance, security, and reliability testing across applications.Conduct code reviews, test-case reviews, and ensure compliance with CI/CD pipelines.Mentor junior QA engineers and promote a culture of continuous learning and improvement.Stay updated with emerging QA technologies and recommend process enhancements.Contribute to project planning, estimation, and agile development practices.Ensure defect prevention strategies and root cause analysis are consistently applied. Must Have Skills & Experience: Over 10 years of professional experience in QA with expertise in test automation and manual testing.Strong knowledge of automation frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or Appium.Hands-on experience with API testing tools (Postman, RestAssured) and performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner).Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines, Git, and DevOps practices.Experience with cloud platforms (MS Azure preferred) and containerization tools (Docker/Kubernetes).Knowledge of Python or other scripting languages for test automation.Strong knowledge of SQL Server and database validation techniques.Familiarity with agile methodologies and test management tools (Jira, Azure DevOps, GitLab).Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to lead technical discussions and mentor QA teams.Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.Ability to create detailed test documentation, test strategies, and low-level designs.Experience in testing both web-based and desktop-based applications. Good to Have Skills & Experience: Experience with microservices testing and distributed systems validation.Knowledge of security testing practices, including vulnerability scanning and secure coding validation.Hands on test-case writing experience with MS excel, Google Sheets, and similar tools.Exposure to NoSQL databases such as MongoDB or Cosmos DB.Familiarity with BDD/TDD frameworks (Cucumber, SpecFlow, xUnit, NUnit).Prior experience working in large-scale enterprise environments and product-based companies in domains such as wind, automotive, and industrial. Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.Proactive attitude and ability to work independently or in a team.Strong documentation and presentation skills. Educational Qualification Required: Bachelor's degree (mandatory) B.E./B.Tech in computer science, IT or relevant. .
