AI/ML (Front end app developer) Remote (India) Long Term Position Overview We are seeking a highly motivated AI/ML & Digital Health Engineer to join our interdisciplinary team. The successful candidate will play a key role in designing, developing, and evaluating AI-driven communication support technologies for patients with neurological language impairments. This role combines expertise in machine learning, conversational AI, mobile application development, healthcare technology, and human-centered design. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and optimize AI-powered language assistance features using large language models and related NLP technologies. Build and maintain machine learning pipelines for personalization, prediction, and real-time inference. Collaborate with clinicians, speech and language therapists, researchers, and patients to translate clinical needs into technical solutions. Develop and integrate mobile application components for Android and/or i OS platforms. Implement secure, scalable, and privacy-compliant healthcare data workflows. Conduct usability testing and support clinical validation studies. Evaluate model performance, safety, explainability, and user outcomes. Contribute to regulatory, ethical, and digital health compliance considerations. Stay current with advances in AI, assistive communication technologies, and digital therapeutics. Required Qualifications Strong experience with machine learning and natural language processing. Experience working with large language models (LLMs), prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented systems, or conversational AI. Proficiency in Python and modern ML frameworks such as Py Torch or Tensor Flow. Experience developing mobile or cross-platform applications. Understanding of healthcare data privacy, security, and ethical AI principles. Ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary clinical and technical teams. Preferred Qualifications Experience in digital health, health technology, medical devices, or assistive technologies. Familiarity with speech-language pathology, aphasia, neuro-oncology, or neurological disorders. Experience with user-centered design and accessibility-focused product development. Knowledge of clinical research methodologies and healthcare regulations. Experience deploying AI systems in real-world healthcare environments. What You'll Help Build You will contribute to a next-generation communication support platform that aims to empower individuals affected by tumor-related aphasia through personalized, context-aware AI assistance. Your work has the potential to improve quality of life, communication independence, and patient-centered care for a population that is often overlooked by existing AAC solutions. .
