Job Description We are looking for an experienced ELV Engineer to join our offices located in Chennai, Gurgaon, Hyderabad, Noida, and Mumbai, India. The successful candidate will provide ELV (ICT / AV & Security) engineering services on projects for Ramboll and its clients, including coordination with global engineering teams. Specific areas of key responsibility include the following: Responsible for interfacing with the ELV team in developing the user experience/interface of the building and the technology overlay. Experienced in designing ICT, Security, and Audio-Visual systems with control systems for large-scale facilities such as Hotels, Museums, Auditoriums, Malls, and Mixed-Use Developments. Experience in ELV (ICT/AV and Security) systems and detailed engineering. Design and documentation of Electrical / ELV systems, including experience in Access Control Systems (ACS), CCTV design, physical security systems such as bollards and gate barriers, Audio Visual, and ICT systems. MEP Service Coordination and ELV systems including BMS system working knowledge on UK and European projects (mandatory). Must be able to create and modify Revit Families. Good knowledge of RCP coordination. Prepare ELV and BMS mark-ups and coordinate with other disciplines, including global engineering teams and technicians for modeling and production work. Coordinate regularly with the MEP team for services coordination. Tools and software experience: Revit MEP, AutoCAD, BIM360, Navisworks, Ekahau, Ease, and VideoCAD. Qualifications Bachelors Degree in Building Services / Electrical and Electronics Engineering Experience Minimum 4 years of experience working on UK/European projects and overall 12 to 15 years of total experience. Proven track record in building services design across sectors including High-Rise Buildings, Commercial, Residential, Retail, Healthcare, Industrial, and Refurbishment projects. Proven record as an ELV Engineer on multiple complex projects. Experienced at: Leading MEP coordination Working with local authority guidelines and regulatory requirements, including approvals and compliance submissions. Technical Skills / Knowledge Specific areas of anticipated technical skills include: Proven ability to carry out both manual and computer-aided calculations, problem-solving, technical and financial analysis. Competent use of relevant software such as MS Office Suite and electrical engineering-specific software. Strong software capability and proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and Navisworks. Excellent knowledge of international design standards including BICSI, ANSI, TIA, and other global ELV standards. Excellent understanding of statutory regulations, design approvals, and submission requirements across UK and European markets. Advanced knowledge of ELV Engineering Principles, BMS, IT, AV, and Security design. Sustainable design practices and technologies.
