Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Branch Manager role based in Junagadh. The Branch Manager will oversee daily branch operations, including managing loan processing activities, ensuring compliance with company policies, and maintaining high standards of customer service. Responsibilities include achieving branch sales and portfolio targets, supervising and coaching branch staff, and driving growth in home and commercial property loan products. The role also involves building and maintaining relationships with customers, monitoring credit quality, coordinating with central and regional teams, and ensuring accurate documentation and reporting. The Branch Manager will represent SMFG Grihashakti in the local market and support initiatives that strengthen the companys brand and customer trust. Qualifications Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience supervising branch staff and driving performance.Proficiency in sales, business development, and customer relationship management within financial services or lending.Knowledge of home finance, mortgage products, and credit assessment, including basic understanding of risk and compliance.Solid organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills to manage operations, documentation, and reporting effectively.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage diverse customers and stakeholders.Bachelors degree in finance, business, economics, or a related field; postgraduate qualification in management is an advantage.Prior experience as a Branch Manager or in a similar role in housing finance, NBFCs, or banking is highly preferred.Comfort with using standard office software and loan management systems; familiarity with local market dynamics in Junagadh is a plus. .
