Product Owner, Serialization & Traceability6-Month Contract | Fully Remote | Occasional Travel | Strong Extension PotentialWe're supporting a global manufacturing and supply chain organisation in the search for an experienced Product Owner, Serialization & Traceability to take ownership of a business-critical serialization ecosystem supporting manufacturing, regulatory compliance and supply chain operations. This is a fully remote contract position with occasional travel as required. The initial term is 6 months, with a strong likelihood of extension. The RoleAs Product Owner, you will be responsible for the strategic direction, roadmap, lifecycle management and operational performance of a complex Serialization & Traceability landscape. You will work across multiple platforms that support product serialization, aggregation, regulatory reporting, anti-counterfeiting and partner connectivity, ensuring business continuity while driving continuous improvement and transformation initiatives. A key focus of the role will be supporting a major serialization platform transformation programme, helping define the future-state solution, roadmap priorities and long-term product strategy. Key ResponsibilitiesOwn the product strategy and roadmap for the Serialization & Traceability ecosystemDrive prioritisation across regulatory requirements, enhancements, lifecycle activities and transformation initiativesEnsure stable and compliant operation of business-critical serialization platformsLead vendor governance and manage relationships with key technology partners and service providersCollaborate with manufacturing sites, quality, regulatory, supply chain and digital teams to define priorities and deliver valueSupport audit readiness, validation activities and ongoing GxP complianceOversee incident, problem, change and release management processesContribute to strategic transformation programmes, including platform modernisation and simplification initiativesProvide leadership across a matrix environment, working closely with delivery and functional specialistsRequired ExperienceProven Product Owner experience within Serialization, Track & Trace, Digital Manufacturing, Supply Chain Systems or MES environmentsExperience managing enterprise applications within highly regulated industriesStrong understanding of pharmaceutical serialization processes and regulationsExperience owning business-critical platforms and managing operational service deliveryTrack record of delivering complex cross-functional programmes and transformation initiativesExperience managing third-party vendors and service providersTechnical & Functional SkillsStrong knowledge of serialization and traceability processes across manufacturing and supply chain operationsUnderstanding of serialization architectures and data flows across L1-L5 environmentsExperience with platforms such as Antares (F2D2, Track4, Sentry), TraceLink, or similar serialization solutionsKnowledge of global serialization regulations including EMVS, DSCSA and equivalent frameworksExperience with SaaS and hybrid application environmentsUnderstanding of serial number lifecycle management, aggregation, commissioning, decommissioning and regulatory reportingKnowledge of GxP regulated environments, validation processes and audit requirementsFamiliarity with APIs, integration concepts and enterprise data exchangesWhat's on Offer 6-month contract engagement Fully remote working Occasional travel only High-profile global transformation programme Strong possibility of contract extension Immediate start available This is an excellent opportunity for a senior Product Owner with deep Serialization and Traceability expertise to join a critical transformation initiative and influence the future direction of a global digital manufacturing landscape. .
