This role is responsible for supporting the operation and routine maintenance of plant utilities such as water systems, compressed air, steam, refrigeration, and power supply to ensure smooth production activities. Day-to-day tasks include monitoring utility equipment performance, recording operational parameters, assisting in preventive maintenance, and promptly escalating any deviations or breakdowns to senior team members. The Jr Utility Officer collaborates with production, maintenance, and safety teams to support energy efficiency initiatives and compliance with environmental, health, and safety standards. The role also involves maintaining basic documentation, following standard operating procedures, and participating in shift-based operations as required. Qualifications Candidates should possess fundamental technical skills in utility operations, including basic knowledge of mechanical or electrical systems, industrial machinery, and plant utilities.Candidates should possess skills in monitoring and documentation, such as recording operating parameters, maintaining logbooks, and supporting compliance with safety and quality procedures.Candidates should possess problem-solving and coordination skills, including identifying issues, reporting faults, and working effectively with cross-functional teams.Candidates should possess strong attention to detail, time management, and the ability to follow standard operating procedures in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Beneficial qualifications include a diploma or ITI in Mechanical, Electrical, or related engineering disciplines, prior experience in FMCG or manufacturing utilities, and familiarity with safety and environmental regulations. .
