Plumbing and firefighting draftsman

Job Summary: The Plumbing & Fire Fighting Draftsman will prepare plumbing shop drawings, coordinated layouts, and as-built drawings for MEP projects while coordinating with design, BIM, and site teams to ensure drawings are execution-ready and aligned with project requirements. Key Responsibilities: Prepare plumbing shop drawings for water supply, drainage, sewerage, STP/ETP, rainwater systems, and fixtures. Develop coordinated drawings integrating plumbing with HVAC, fire, and electrical services. Review design drawings and incorporate revisions for final execution drawings. Prepare as-built drawings based on site updates. Support BIM coordination when required. Assist in BOQ preparation and material take-offs from drawings. Coordinate with site engineers for installation and technical clarifications. Use AutoCAD (mandatory) and Revit MEP (preferred) for drafting. Key Performance Indicators: Timely and accurate preparation of shop and as-built drawings. Effective coordination with other MEP disciplines. Organized documentation with proper revision control. Accurate BOQ and material take-offs. Quick response to technical queries and site issues. Required Qualifications & Skills: Diploma/Degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering. 45 years of experience in plumbing drafting for MEP/construction projects. Proficiency in AutoCAD; Revit MEP preferred. Good understanding of plumbing systems, drainage, sanitary fixtures, and industry standards. Strong coordination and communication skills. Willingness to travel across India as per project requirements. Compensation: 30,000.00 - 40,000.00 per month Benefits: Provident Fund Work Location: In person .
