Plant Details : State-of-the-art Formulations (Oral Solid Dosage) Manufacturing Facility. This high-technology plant features fully automated processes, with no manual intervention, setting a new standard for precision, efficiency, and quality in pharmaceutical manufacturing. The plant is equipped with an ASRS facility, closed loop manufacturing operation, end to end automated packing lines, integrated MES system, BMS controlled HVAC system. Leadership Lead and effectively manage maintenance of Manufacturing, Utilities electrical and instrumentation Ensure the effective Asset and Facility upkeep, Deployment of Maintenance Strategy, Capital Projects, Technology up-gradations, Equipment Efficiency improvements for Utilities & Facilities at Site & the adherence to compliance and building people capability in these areas, in order to support achieving safe and efficient operations. Effectively managing all maintenance activities (including preventive & predictive maintenance) in all the areas of the site. Provide inputs and work towards Engineering Strategy, aligned to Site Strategy and role, including management of Assets, Departmental Capital projects planning & implementation, Assessments, planned upgradation / replacements / modifications of Equipment / Plant in cost-effective ways and ensuring adherence to latest Engineering, EHS and cGMP requirements, so as to ensure upkeep of Plant facility. Application of performance management within Utilities aligned to the Site and Supply Chain performance targets. Ensuring Plant availability through use of advanced Maintenance management techniques like CBM and review of Reliability studies. Cost Lead the Site sustainability program covering energy consumption and water management. Prepare & propose the annual department budget (Opex and Capex) Monitor costs periodically and recommend actions to address non-adherence to approved budgets, if any. Identify gap between installed capacity and requirement and factor it during budgeting. Drive efficiency of utility equipment and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance capacity utilization and machine efficiency. Propose adoption of best practices. Identify and implement cost improvement initiatives by recommending/evaluating the initiative, conducting risk assessment. To review and approve procurement related proposals in SAP / documents. Compliance Comply with local legal and regulatory requirements. Employ good engineering practice. Seek expert help when required (from central engineering, contractors, consultants etc.) Escalate significant issues to central engineering Ensuring Statutory Compliance are met through routine review of legal comply Directorate of Industrial Safety and Health (DISH) Controller of Explosives Gujarat Industrial Development Corporation - Indian boiler regulatory. To review SOPs in SAP S/4 HANA system. To approve change controls, CAPA, Deviation and other QMS related activity in Trackwise Digital System (TWD). To review protocols in Validation Lifecycle Management System (VLMS). To review/approve QMS activity in manual paper based/digital software on day to day basis. Any other activity related to QMS/Compliance/Statutory or management documentation requirements. To represent as a CFT in investigation required for QMS or other activities. People Management Develop solid technical capability within Utilities electrical, instrumentation and process areas. Ensures this is based on the business needs, technical capability and people development plans for management and non- management staff. Assess competency and resource requirements for the Function and ensure these are adequately addressed. Conduct structured People Development Plans Assigning specific responsibilities and targets, Periodic reviews of the performance & development needs. .
