Senior QS Engineer MEP & ELV Department: Projects Location: Corporate Office / Project Sites Employment Type: Full-Time Experience: 68 Years Joining: Immediate Joiners / Short Notice Preferred About the Role We are looking for a Senior QS Engineer MEP & ELV with good experience in Electrical & ELV Quantity Surveying. The candidate will handle estimation, BOQ, quantity take-off, billing, cost control, procurement, contracts, variations, claims, and final accounts for construction projects. Key Responsibilities Prepare BOQs, estimates, budgets, and quantity take-offs.Review drawings, specifications, and project requirements.Check quantities from drawings and site measurements.Handle QS activities for Electrical & ELV works.Review supplier and subcontractor quotations.Support tendering, procurement, and rate negotiations.Monitor project costs against the approved budget.Track project expenses and prepare cost reports.Prepare and check client and subcontractor bills.Handle measurements, valuations, and payment certification.Manage variations, claims, and additional works.Assess the cost impact of design and scope changes.Maintain contracts and commercial records.Coordinate with clients, consultants, vendors, subcontractors, and project teams.Prepare and close final accounts.Identify cost-saving opportunities and commercial risks.Requirements Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering.68 years of relevant QS experience.Strong experience in Electrical & ELV Quantity Surveying.Good knowledge of MEP construction and commercial activities.Good understanding of BOQ, estimation, billing, cost control, and contracts.Good knowledge of variations and claims.Ability to read and understand AutoCAD drawings.Good knowledge of MS Excel / Advanced Excel and MS Office.Good communication, negotiation, and coordination skills.Preferred Experience Experience in industrial, commercial, residential, or interior projects will be an advantage. Candidates with experience in subcontractor management, vendor negotiation, client billing, variations, claims, and final accounts are preferred.
