Manager MEP (Tendering & Cost Focus)

Role & responsibilitiesLead endtoend *MEP tendering process*, including preparation of technical proposals, BOQs, schedules, and bid documentation for electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and firefighting packages.Conduct *detailed cost analysis and estimation* for MEP packages, including material rates, labour, equipment, and subcontract scopes; prepare and validate rate analyses.Prepare and review *BOQs, drawings, and specifications* for MEP systems, ensuring alignment between electrical design and other services (HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, etc.).Coordinate *integration of electrical systems* with other MEP and building services (e.g., loadsharing, cable routing, HT/LT distribution, DG systems, lighting, fire alarm, CCTV, BMS, etc.) for optimized space utilization and performance.Evaluate and compare *vendor and subcontractor quotations*, ensuring technical compliance and commercial competitiveness.Support value engineering and *costoptimization initiatives* across MEP packages while maintaining design intent and safety standards.Interface with design consultants, architects, and project team to ensure MEP systems are substantiated and coordinated across all disciplines.Provide technical and commercial inputs for tender evaluation, negotiations, and postaward handover to the execution team.Degree in Electrical Engineering, 815 years of experience in MEP management within large commercial, industrial, or highrise construction projects.Proven track record in *tendering, BOQ preparation, cost estimation, and rate analysis* for MEP contracts.Strong *technical knowledge of electrical systems* (HT/LT, transformers, panels, cabling, DG, lighting, fire alarm, ITS, BMS, etc.) and ability to integrate them with other MEP services.Familiarity with project management tools, AutoCAD/Revit (basic), and commonly used costestimation software.Good communication, negotiation, and leadership skills; ability to work in multidisciplinary project teamPreferred candidate profileRole SummaryManager MEP responsible for technical and commercial leadership of MEP systems from tenders through detailed execution, with strong emphasis on *tender preparation, cost analysis, and integration of electrical systems with other MEP services*. .
