About the Role Our client is seeking a practical and skilled Industrial Electrical Engineer to oversee electrical systems within their manufacturing facilities in Ahmedabad . This role focuses on ensuring the reliability, safety, and efficiency of all electrical equipment and infrastructure supporting production. You will be involved in maintenance, troubleshooting, upgrades, and new installations, working closely with plant operations and maintenance teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of industrial electrical systems, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and a commitment to operational excellence and safety standards. Key Responsibilities Maintain and troubleshoot industrial electrical equipment, including motors, drives, control panels, and power distribution systems. Plan and execute electrical maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and ensure operational continuity. Oversee electrical aspects of new equipment installations and facility upgrades. Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and electrical codes. Implement energy efficiency initiatives and recommend improvements to electrical systems. Collaborate with the operations team to support production goals. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field. Minimum of 3 years of experience in an industrial electrical engineering role. Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics and blueprints. Hands-on experience with industrial control systems, variable frequency drives (VFDs), and motor controls. Knowledge of safety procedures and electrical code compliance (e.g., NEC).
