As the RnD Lead, you will play a critical role in defining and driving the product vision and strategy for EyeROV. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, and marketing, to develop products that address market needs and stand out in a competitive industry. Your focus will be on ensuring the successful development and lifecycle management of robotics products that incorporate advanced embedded systems. Key ResponsibilitiesDefine Product Vision and StrategyDevelop a comprehensive product strategy that aligns with the company's objectives and addresses market needs in the robotics and embedded systems domainIdentify unique value propositions and differentiate our products from competitorsMarket and Customer InsightsConduct extensive market research to understand industry trends, customer needs, and pain pointsAnalyze competitive products and identify potential growth opportunitiesCross-Functional CollaborationWork closely with engineering, design, and marketing teams to develop and coordinate the product development processEnsure that the product aligns with the overall company strategy and meets customer expectationsProduct Lifecycle ManagementOversee the product lifecycle from ideation to launch and post-launch supportEstablish metrics and KPIs to measure product success and guide continuous improvementTechnical ExpertiseDesign and Architecture of Embedded and Software part of EyeROV products and solutions, which include underwater remotely operated vehicles, autonomous underwater and surface vehicleLeverage your deep understanding of robotics and embedded systems to guide product developmentStay up-to-date with the latest technology trends to ensure that our products are at the forefront of innovationData-Driven Decision MakingUtilize data analysis and interpretation to make informed decisions and improve product performanceMonitor product success through metrics and KPIs, adjusting strategy as neededAdaptability and Continuous LearningEmbrace change and continuously learn to adapt to the evolving robotics industryParticipate in industry conferences, read publications, and network with professionals to stay ahead of the curveField evaluations and Continuous ImprovementWilling to travel to the field to evaluate product performanceMake the product readiness to TRL9 by repeated trials, iterations, and improvementsSkill setsProven work experience in product management in Robotics/Electronic Hardware companiesShould have led and worked in the full product life cycle from development to post-sale upgradeShould have worked with cross-functional roles, including electro-mechanical systems, software, and an understanding of production aspects of product developmentEstablished Project management with complex systems having a minimum BoM of 100+ components and 10+ subsystems/blocksShould have led a team of at least 10+ R&D team membersExperience in ROSOS Programming skillsets - C, C++, PythonAdded advantagesWorked on the defence grade system developmentsExperience in Marine/Subsea Electromechanical systemsExperience in project management tools like Zoho ProjectsPrior experience in start-upsExperience in embedded systems/hardware designShould be adept with Electronic hardware certifications and standards and have executed the same.QualificationBE/B.Tech/M.Tech and PhD in Electronics/Electrical or circuit branches. .
