Position Summary: We are seeking a strong Lead Platform Engineer to join our Developer Experience and Cloud Platform Engineering team. This role will focus on building scalable platform capabilities, reusable engineering patterns, infrastructure automation, and self-service tooling that improve developer productivity, cloud governance, reliability, and delivery speed across engineering teams. Roles & Responsibilities Build self-service platform capabilities, reusable templates, and automation to help engineering teams provision, deploy, and operate cloud workloads efficiently.Support Azure subscription decomposition and cloud landing zone initiatives, including subscription strategy, resource organization, environment separation, RBAC, policy, governance, and secure connectivity.Build and maintain reusable modules for cloud infrastructure, including identity, compute, messaging, monitoring, security, and core networking components.Drive DevX and engineering excellence initiatives, including golden paths, reusable engineering templates, standardized CI/CD patterns, automated quality gates, and self-service workflows.Partner with security, architecture, and application teams to define secure-by-default infrastructure patterns, including identity-based access, secrets management, policy-driven guardrails, and secure platform standards.Enable application teams with standardized deployment patterns that include security, observability, compliance, and operational readiness built into reusable templates.Establish observability standards and platform guardrails to improve monitoring, troubleshooting, reliability, and operational maturity across application teams.Enable engineering teams to adopt approved AI tools, automation patterns, and platform capabilities to improve productivity, quality, and delivery efficiency. Required Skills Must have B.Tech (CS) from a reputed college or university.Strong hands-on experience with cloud platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure, including PaaS services, security, governance, cloud networking, secure connectivity patterns, and operational practicesStrong hands-on experience with cloud platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure, including cloud native application hosting, platform services, security, governance, cloud networking, secure connectivity and operational practices.Understanding of cloud governance and secure-by-default platform patterns, including RBAC, policy as code, tagging, secrets management, compliance, and guardrails.Strong experience with Terraform or similar Infrastructure as Code toolsExperience building or supporting self-service platform capabilities, reusable templates, automation workflows, and standardized engineering patterns.Hands-on experience with CI/CD platforms such as Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions or similar tools, including reusable pipeline templates and automated deployment workflows.Good understanding of distributed systems and event-driven architectures.Strong understanding of observability practices, including logging, metrics, tracing, dashboards, alerts, production monitoring, troubleshooting and SLO/SLA tracking.Experience working with engineering teams to drive DevX or engineering excellence initiatives, including golden paths, reusable templates, quality gates, documentation, and platform adoption.Exposure to AI-assisted engineering tools or automation practices to improve developer productivity, code quality, and delivery efficiency.Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills with the ability to work across platform, security .
