Job Description : Looking for position for one of the institutes of Symbiosis International University i.e. Symbiosis University Hospital & Research Centre, Lavale, Pune Hospital is 900 beds NABH Accredited, Multi-super Specialty State of the art hospital. Associated with Symbiosis Medical College for Women. Position : Registered Dietitian Requirement of Qualification and experience : - 0-1+ years experience - B. Sc/M.sc in Nutrition and dietetics or PG Diploma in Clinical Nutrition and dietetics Responsibilities: - To assist the entire dept team in planning menus for inpatients. - To prepare and provide daily customized meal plans as per diet of patients to F&B; team - To Obtain and examine the nutrition histories of the patients regarding food habits - To Consult with physicians /doctors to assess the nutritional needs and diet restrictions of patients/clients - To collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care - To conduct documented nutritional assessment for all the admitted patients and execute the nutrition care plan. - To visit inpatients on a daily basis and ensure dietary needs are met. - To educating patients on the nutritional content and advantages of different foods - To monitor and document patient progress towards their nutrition goals - To counsel outpatients referred by the Consultants. - To modify diet to suit patients taste preferences and clinical restrictions. - To provides dietary advice during preventive health check clinics/camp. - To take up responsibility for inpatient diet sampling along with Chefs and F&B; Manager. - To Advise/guide food service staff on how to prepare meals that meet patients dietary requirements - To take steps to ensure that hygiene standards are maintained in the F&B.; - To provide diet advice for the participants of the geriatric program, nutrition clinics and any other relevant programs. - To participate in camps and events organized as CSR or promotional events. - Update electronic records in HMIS / prepare computer record with analysis - Assist Manager in maintaining various records and MIS Job Type: Full-time Compensation: 25,000.00 - 30,000.00 per month Benefits: - Health insurance - Paid sick time - Provident Fund Work Location: In person .
