SAP ABAP - Senior Associate PWC

We are seeking a highly skilled SAP ABAP Senior Associate to join our technology practice. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust SAP solutions that drive business efficiency and digital transformation for our clients. You will serve as a key technical contributor, bridging the gap between complex business requirements and scalable technical architecture. Key Deliverables Design and implement high-quality ABAP code to support complex SAP modules and custom business processes. Collaborate with functional consultants to translate business requirements into technical specifications and effective system designs. Optimize existing SAP applications and interfaces to improve performance, scalability, and user experience. Integrate SAP systems with cloud-based platforms and data analytics tools to support modern enterprise architectures. Lead technical troubleshooting and root cause analysis for critical system issues to ensure minimal downtime. Mentor junior team members on coding standards, best practices, and efficient development workflows. Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from requirement gathering and design to testing and deployment. Essential Requirements 4-7 years of professional experience in SAP ABAP development. Deep expertise in Object-Oriented ABAP, SAP HANA, and modern interface technologies like OData and RESTful services. Proven ability to develop and maintain complex reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, and forms (RICEFW). Strong understanding of SAP architecture and integration patterns within large-scale enterprise environments. Demonstrated experience in performance tuning and debugging complex SAP applications. Preferred Qualifications Experience working with SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform) and cloud-native development. Exposure to AI-driven automation tools or advanced data analytics integration within the SAP ecosystem. Prior experience in a consulting environment with a focus on product-based delivery.
