Role Description The Voluntary Community and Healthcare Service Provider role is an on-site position based in Bihar, India. In this volunteer role, candidates will assist in organizing and supporting community health camps, helping with patient registration, basic health screenings under supervision, and guiding individuals to appropriate services. Volunteers will participate in public health awareness activities, such as distributing educational materials and engaging with community members about hygiene, nutrition, and preventive care. The role may involve coordinating with local healthcare professionals, helping manage supplies, maintaining simple records of services provided, and supporting outreach to remote or marginalized areas. Volunteers are expected to collaborate with the foundations team, follow established procedures, and uphold respectful and ethical conduct when interacting with community members. Qualifications Strong interest in community service, public health, or social work, with a desire to support underserved populations.Basic understanding of healthcare or willingness to learn, including comfort assisting with simple, supervised tasks in a clinical or outreach setting.Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact respectfully with people from diverse cultural and socio-economic backgrounds.Reliability, integrity, and the ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively as part of a team in field environments.Physical and emotional resilience to participate in on-site activities, including travel within local communities and working in resource-limited settings.Ability to read and write in English and local languages (such as Hindi) is highly beneficial.Previous volunteer experience or involvement in community initiatives is an advantage but not required.Availability to commit a regular amount of time to on-site volunteering, as agreed with the foundation. .
