Proxima Executive Search has been mandated by a well-established Indian Light Engineering Company to identify an accomplished business leader for the position of President. The company is part of a highly respected and diversified Indian business group with a strong manufacturing heritage, serving large industrial/institutional customers as well as an established channel and distribution network. The Leadership Mandate The President will have end-to-end P&L responsibility and lead the company's next phase of business transformation and profitable growth. Key responsibilities include: Drive revenue growth, profitability, cash generation and return on capital.Develop and execute a comprehensive business transformation roadmap.Accelerate Institutional Sales and Channel Sales.Acquire new large industrial customers and increase business with existing customers.Expand and strengthen the dealer/distributor network.Accelerate exports and international business development.Drive new product development and commercialisation.Improve manufacturing productivity, quality, cost competitiveness, supply chain and working capital.Champion Industry 4.0, automation, digital manufacturing and data-driven operational excellence.Build a high-performance organisation and leadership team.Work closely with the Board to deliver agreed strategic and financial objectives. Candidate Profile We are looking for an accomplished business leader with: 25+ years of experience in Light Engineering / Industrial Products / Engineering Manufacturing.Hands-on experience managing the P&L of a company/business with annual revenue of at least USD 75100 million.Strong foundation in Sales & Marketing, followed by broader business and P&L leadership.Proven experience managing both Institutional/B2B Sales and Channel/Distribution Sales.Demonstrated success in acquiring and growing large industrial customers.Proven track record of leading business transformation, profitable growth and organisational change.Hands-on expertise in implementing Industry 4.0, manufacturing digitalisation and automation.Experience leading cross-functional teams across Sales & Marketing, Operations, Engineering/R&D, Supply Chain, Finance and HR.International business/export exposure would be an added advantage.Strong combination of strategic thinking and hands-on execution.
