We are looking for an experienced NPD Engineer with strong expertise in BESS, containerized solutions, and electrical panel design. The candidate will be responsible for complete product development, including mechanical and electrical integration of BESS systems. Key Responsibilities Lead New Product Development (NPD) activities from concept to final product release Design and develop containerized BESS solutions, including: Structural layout and equipment placement Ventilation and thermal management integration Fire protection system integration (hydrant, sprinkler, clean agent) Design and review electrical panels, including: LT panels / control panels Cable routing, termination, and interconnections Compliance with safety and protection requirements Prepare and review GA drawings, fabrication drawings, and BOQs Ensure integration of: Battery systems PCS (Power Conversion System) BMS systems Coordinate with vendors for container fabrication and panel manufacturing Conduct technical evaluation and vendor finalization Ensure compliance with applicable standards: NFPA, UL 9540, IEC, IS standards Participate in design reviews, HAZOP/risk assessment, and value engineering Support testing, FAT, commissioning, and troubleshooting Prepare technical documentation and reports Roles & Deliverables Timely completion of NPD milestones Accurate container and panel design deliverables Successful product validation and deployment Required Skills & Qualifications Required Skills Strong experience in BESS system design and integration Hands-on experience in: Container design (structural + layout) Electrical panel design and engineering Knowledge of thermal management and fire protection systems in BESS Proficiency in AutoCAD / SolidWorks / EPLAN Understanding of electrical systems, SLDs, and protection schemes Familiarity with codes & standards (NFPA, UL, IEC, IS) Preferred Experience Experience in containerized energy storage systems (MW-scale) Exposure to fire safety design for lithium-ion batteries Experience in EPC / renewable energy / power sector projects Key Competencies Strong coordination and communication skills Problem-solving and analytical thinking Ability to handle multiple projects Focus on quality, safety, and timelines Why This Role Lead the development of next-generation BESS products from concept to commercialization, driving innovation in one of the fastest-growing sectors of the clean energy industry.
