BIM Coordinator/BIM Modeller (HVAC, FFPHE and Electrical) (Ernakulam)

BIM Coordinator Job Role - Coordinate BIM activities among architects, structural engineers, MEP engineers, contractors, and consultants. - Develop and maintain federated BIM models throughout project lifecycles. - Ensure compliance with BIM Execution Plans (BEP), project standards, and client requirements. - Manage model exchanges, version control, and data integrity. Model Review & Quality Control - Perform regular model audits and quality checks. - Conduct clash detection and coordination reviews using BIM software. - Track and resolve design conflicts and constructability issues. - Ensure model accuracy, completeness, and consistency. Collaboration & Communication - Lead BIM coordination meetings and prepare coordination reports. - Serve as the primary point of contact for BIM-related issues on assigned projects. - Communicate model updates, standards, and workflows to project teams. - Support multidisciplinary collaboration through Common Data Setting (CDE) platforms. Technical Support - Provide technical guidance and training to project team members. - Assist in the development and implementation of BIM standards, templates, and workflows. - Support 4D, 5D, and digital construction initiatives where applicable. - Troubleshoot BIM software and workflow issues. Documentation & Reporting - Maintain BIM documentation, including model status reports and coordination logs. - Prepare model deliverables according to project milestones. - Monitor BIM KPIs and report progress to project management. BIM Modeller Job Role - Create and update MEP models (HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, electrical) in Autodesk Revit. - Generate coordinated shop drawings. - Follow project standards and UAE authority regulations (DM, DEWA, DCD, etc.). - Coordinate with internal teams to resolve clashes and meet project deadlines. .
