Role & responsibilities - Preparation of detailed project cost estimates and Engineer's Estimates - Quantity take-offs from architectural, structural and civil drawings - Preparation and checking of Bills of Quantities (BOQs) - Preparation of tender estimates and detailed rate analysis - Rate analysis based on CPWD DSR, State SOR, market rates and non-schedule items - Preparation of comparative statements for materials, subcontractors and vendors - Tender documentation, bid analysis and evaluation - Cost planning, budgeting and monitoring of project costs - Preparation of project cost statements and cost-control reports - Analysis of material, labour, machinery and overhead components - Coordination with procurement, billing and project execution teams - Review of drawings, specifications, tender documents and contract conditions - Preparation and maintenance of estimation, tendering and contract documentation Preferred candidate profile - B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Civil Engineering or relevant qualification - Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Quantity Surveying, Estimation and Tendering - Strong experience in building and infrastructure projects - Hands-on knowledge of CPWD DSR and State Schedule of Rates (SOR) - Strong understanding of BOQ preparation, quantity take-offs and rate analysis - Experience in preparation of tender estimates, comparative statements and bid evaluation - Positive knowledge of market-rate analysis and preparation of rates for non-schedule items - Proficiency in MS Excel and AutoCAD - Good analytical and numerical skills - Ability to independently prepare estimates and evaluate project costs .
