Department OverviewFunctional Data Stewardship Manager:(Manager, Data Stewardship) To lead the development and execution of data governance strategies, ensuring data is managed effectively across the organization Who were looking for: Primary Responsibilities: Vision and Goal Setting: Develop and maintain the vision and goals for data governance, aligning with organizational priorities.Governance and Council Leadership: Lead data governance councils and responsible AI councils to drive strategic initiatives.Policy and Framework Development: Create and maintain comprehensive policies, processes, and data quality frameworks.Risk and Compliance Management: Oversee data privacy, security measures, and compliance with data governance standards.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with various teams to ensure effective data governance and stewardship.Qualifications Bachelor's degree in information technology, Data Science, or related field5+ years of experience in data governance, data management, or related fieldsStrong understanding of data privacy, security, and compliance regulationsProficiency in data governance tools and methodologiesExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsMandatory Skills: Data Governance, Risk Management, Master Data Management (MDM), Metadata Management, and Data Quality.McDonalds is the worlds leading global foodservice retailer with over 40,000 locations in over 100 countries.
