Role Description This is a full time, remote role for a Web Developer: Word Press & React Native for a client of The Marketing Poet. The person in this role will develop, maintain, and optimize Word Press websites, including custom themes, plugins, and integrations that align with client brand and performance goals. They will also build and support mobile applications using React Native, ensuring robust, user-friendly, and responsive experiences. Day-to-day responsibilities include translating design concepts into clean code, troubleshooting and debugging issues, implementing best practices for performance and security, and collaborating with designers, strategists, and account teams. The Web Developer will participate in code reviews, document technical decisions, and proactively suggest improvements to workflows, tools, and site/app architecture. Qualifications Strong front-end development skills, including Web Development, Front-End Development, and Web Design, with an eye for responsive, accessible, and user-centered interfaces. Proficient programming capabilities, including Programming fundamentals and modern Java Script frameworks (especially React/React Native) for building scalable web and mobile experiences.
