We are currently hiring a Phlebotomist for one of our valued clients in the healthcare sector. Role Overview We are looking for a qualified Phlebotomist to join the healthcare team and support accurate diagnosis through precise sample collection. The ideal candidate will be responsible for drawing blood, handling specimens, and ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the process. Key Responsibilities Perform venipuncture and skin punctures to collect blood samples from patients. Label, document, and track all specimens accurately. Prepare specimens for laboratory testing in compliance with protocols. Ensure proper handling, transportation, and storage of blood samples. Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the phlebotomy work area. Follow strict infection control and safety standards. Offer compassionate care and ensure patients are comfortable during procedures. Update patient information and maintain accurate and timely records. Communicate clearly with patients, doctors, and lab staff. Assist medical personnel with any other diagnostic tasks, if required. Required Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent. Certification in Phlebotomy from a recognized institute. Prior experience in a similar role preferred. Sound knowledge of blood collection methods and medical terminology. Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a clinical setting. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities. Experience using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems is an advantage. Ability to maintain confidentiality and work with sensitive patient data.
