JOB DESCRIPTION Position: Maintenance Engineer Location: Kochi,Kerala Role Summary The Site Surveyor cum Maintenance Engineer is responsible for carrying out site surveys, measurements, and inspections while also managing routine and preventive maintenance activities. The role ensures accurate site data for project execution and smooth operation and upkeep of facilities and site installations. Key Responsibilities - Site Survey & Project Support - Conduct site surveys, measurements, and level checks before and during project execution - Prepare site measurement reports, quantity take-offs, and basic layout sketches - Coordinate with design, project managers, and contractors for accurate execution - Verify drawings against site conditions and highlight discrepancies - Assist in preparation of as-built drawings and final documentation Maintenance & Operations - Carry out routine, preventive, and breakdown maintenance works - Handle minor civil, interior, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical maintenance activities - Monitor site installations and ensure they are functioning efficiently - Attend and resolve maintenance issues promptly to minimize downtime - Coordinate with vendors and service providers for major repairs and services - Quality, Safety & Reporting - Ensure all site and maintenance works comply with safety standards and company policies - Maintain maintenance logs, service records, and site reports - Support snag list preparation, closure, and handover activities - Report material requirements, issues, and progress to management Mandatory Skills & Knowledge - Robust knowledge of site surveying and measurement techniques - Hands-on experience in maintenance of civil / interior / MEP works - Ability to read and interpret drawings - Basic AutoCAD knowledge (preferred) - Good coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills - Willingness to travel to sites as required Education Diploma / ITI / Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering .
