We're looking for an Accountant Accounts & Finance who can independently manage day-to-day accounting activities and support the overall Accounts & Finance function. Role Summary The ideal candidate should have strong, current, hands-on experience with Zoho Books and a solid understanding of accounting, GST, TDS, AP, AR, reconciliations and month-end closing. Zoho Books experience is mandatory. Candidates with only Tally experience or basic/familiarity-level Zoho Books exposure will not be considered. Key ResponsibilitiesZoho Books & Accounting Independently manage day-to-day accounting activities using Zoho Books.Handle Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, invoicing, vendor bills, receipts and payments.Record and review journal entries and maintain the General Ledger.Perform bank, customer and vendor reconciliations.Maintain accurate books of accounts and supporting documentation.Review accounting entries and resolve discrepancies.Support monthly and year-end closing activities.GST, TDS & Compliance Handle day-to-day GST accounting and reconciliations.Assist with GSTR-1, GSTR-3B and GSTR-2B reconciliation.Handle TDS calculations, payments and return-related activities.Maintain statutory records and supporting documentation.Coordinate with CA, auditors and external consultants when required.Ensure accounting and compliance activities are completed within applicable timelines.MIS & Financial Reporting Prepare monthly MIS reports and accounting schedules.Assist in preparing P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow reports.Prepare receivable and payable ageing reports.Track customer outstanding payments and vendor balances.Provide financial information and reports to management as required.Inventory & Vendor Accounting Handle accounting for purchase and inventory transactions.Verify vendor invoices and purchase documentation.Assist with stock and inventory reconciliation.Coordinate with Procurement, Sales, Operations and Store teams.Support inventory costing and related accounting activities.Audit & Internal Controls Support statutory and internal audits.Prepare audit schedules and supporting documentation.Coordinate with auditors and respond to audit requirements.Maintain proper accounting records and audit trails.Identify accounting process gaps and suggest improvements.Mandatory Requirements Current hands-on Zoho Books experience Mandatory35 years of relevant Accounts & Finance experienceB.Com MandatoryStrong understanding of accounting principlesGood knowledge of GST and TDSExperience in AP, AR, GL, invoicing and bank reconciliationExperience with month-end accounting and closingExperience preparing MIS and financial reportsExperience with inventory and purchase accountingGood MS Excel skillsStrong attention to detailGood communication and coordination skillsWillingness to work from Jubilee Hills, HyderabadAdded Advantage CA Articleship experienceExperience in retail, trading, e-commerce, consumer products or inventory-driven businessesExperience with Zoho Inventory or other Zoho applicationsCA Inter / CMA / M.Com / MBA FinanceExperience working with a CA firm or audit environmentExperience independently handling GST and TDS complianceWho Should Apply Apply only if you have recent, practical hands-on experience with Zoho Books and can independently manage day-to-day accounting activities. This role is suitable for an Accountant who can take ownership of routine accounting operations while supporting compliance, reporting, inventory accounting and the wider finance function.
