Our market reach, diverse solutions and services portfolio, and digital platform Ingram Micro Xvantage set us apart Job Summary We are looking for a Red Hat Pre-Sales Engineer / Product Technical Specialist to support our distribution business across the Red Hat portfolio, with strong emphasis on Red Hat OpenShift and OpenShift Virtualization. The role involves close engagement with partners and customers, technical pre-sales support, solution positioning, enablement, and participation in partner/customer-focused initiatives. Key Responsibilities Pre-Sales & Technical Support Provide technical pre-sales support for the Red Hat portfolio, including OpenShift, OpenShift Virtualization, RHEL, and related technologies. Work closely with sales teams to understand customer requirements and map them to Red Hat solutions. Deliver technical presentations, demos, and solution walkthroughs to partners and customers. Assist partners in solution design, sizing, and architecture discussions. Partner & Customer Engagement Participate in Distribution Managed Partner Round Tables, Partner Round Tables, and Customer Round Tables. Act as a technical point of contact for partner queries, POCs, and technical validations. Support partners during customer meetings, workshops, and proposal discussions. Training & Enablement Conduct partner enablement sessions, technical trainings, and onboarding programs on Red Hat technologies. Help onboard new partners by explaining Red Hat offerings, use cases, and best practices. Create and maintain basic technical documentation, presentations, and demo materials. Internal Collaboration Work closely with Red Hat vendor teams, internal sales, and technical stakeholders. Stay updated with new Red Hat releases, features, and positioning. Provide feedback from partners and customers to internal teams for continuous improvement. Required Skills & Qualifications 13 years of experience in Pre-Sales, Technical Support, or Product Specialist roles. Good working knowledge of:Red Hat OpenShiftOpenShift VirtualizationLinux fundamentals (RHEL preferred)Containers, Kubernetes basics, and virtualization conceptsStrong presentation and communication skills. Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences. Willingness to travel locally for partner and customer engagements Good to Have Exposure to Red Hat certifications (RHCSA / OpenShift-related certifications). Experience working in a Distributor, System Integrator, or Partner ecosystem. Hands-on exposure to POCs, demos, or lab environments. .
