Genera Insurance Claims Manager (Kandivali)

Key Responsibilities Manage end-to-end claims for General Insurance (Non-Motor) products from claim intimation to final settlement. Handle claims related to Fire, Marine, Property, Engineering, Liability, SME and other Non-Motor insurance products. Coordinate with insurance companies, surveyors, loss assessors, TPAs and clients for smooth and timely claim settlement. Review claim documents, policy coverage, deductions, repudiations and settlement terms. Follow up with insurers on pending claims, approvals, queries and settlements. Handle complex, disputed and escalated claims and work towards appropriate resolution. Assist clients with claim documentation, procedures and regular claim status updates. Analyse claims trends, delays and rejection patterns and suggest process improvements. Maintain proper claim records and ensure adherence to policy terms and regulatory requirements. Guide and manage the claims team and ensure timely resolution of claims. Key Skills Strong knowledge of General Insurance (Non-Motor) claims. Valuable understanding of Fire, Marine, Property, Engineering, Liability & SME insurance. Strong coordination, negotiation and follow-up skills. Excellent client servicing and problem-solving abilities. Experience in handling escalated and high-value claims. Experience in an Insurance Broking Firm / General Insurance Company preferred.
