As a Staff Accountant Shared Services, you will contribute to monthend close, account reconciliations, financial analysis, and crossfunctional support. What Youll Do MonthEnd Close & Core Accounting Prepare and maintain balance sheet account reconciliations across multiple entities Support monthend close activities including journal entries, checklists, reconciliations, and postclose review Review journal entries for accuracy and proper documentation Assist with income statement and balance sheet analysis for assigned accounts Financial Analysis & Reporting Investigate and resolve reconciliation variances Support adhoc financial analysis using Excel and reporting tools Assist with documentation and responses for quarterly reviews and annual audits CrossFunctional Support Partner with leaders across the business to support budgeting and forecasting Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting Provide clear explanations and supporting documentation when requested Process Improvement & Development Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and improve efficiency Participate in ongoing training to stay current with accounting standards and best practices What You Bring Education & Experience Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 12 years of accounting experience preferred (internships welcome) Skills & Competencies Strong understanding of accounting principles Ability to analyze financial data and identify variances Proficiency with Excel and common accounting/reporting tools Clear written and verbal communication Ability to manage multiple tasks with accuracy and consistency Curiosity, initiative, and a desire to grow Nice to Have CPA or CPAtrack Why This Role Matters Youll be part of a team that values precision, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
