Assistant Manager - Production Planning & Control

Job Purpose Responsible for overall Production Planning & Control, Material Planning, Inventory Control and Dispatch Planning to ensure smooth production and achievement of customer OTD targets. Key Responsibilities Prepare 4 Weeks Tentative Plan & 1 Week Firm Dispatch Plan based on customer requirements.Release 2 Weeks Firm RM/BOP Plan as per BOM and production requirements.Prepare day-wise / line-wise production plans considering capacity, manpower and material availability.Ensure daily updation of Sales Orders (SO) and AFG status.Ensure effective control of WIP, RM/BOP and FG inventory.Maintain Minimum & Maximum Stock Levels at Stores and FG to avoid shortages and excess inventory.Coordinate with Purchase, Stores, Production, Quality and Dispatch for smooth material and production flow.Monitor Production Plan vs Actual and Dispatch Plan vs Actual and take corrective actions.Ensure achievement of Daily Customer OTD targets and identify potential delays in advance.Identify capacity constraints, material shortages and production bottlenecks and ensure timely resolution.Conduct daily PPC/Production review meetings and issue Dispatch/Production Loss Reports.Ensure No Overproduction of parts not required for dispatch to control excess/HOLD inventory.Improve planning accuracy, inventory levels, production efficiency and delivery performance.Support NPD, process improvement, Lean/Kaizen and cost reduction initiatives.Key KPIs Customer OTDProduction Plan vs ActualDispatch Plan vs ActualPPC Planning AccuracyRM/BOP AvailabilityWIP & FG InventoryLine Stoppage due to Material ShortageSchedule AdherenceExcess / HOLD InventoryCapacity UtilizationRequired Skills Strong knowledge of PPC, MRP, BOM, Capacity Planning & Inventory ControlGood knowledge of ERP/MRP and MS ExcelStrong analytical, coordination and problem-solving skillsGood leadership and cross-functional team management skillsExperience: 0710 Years Qualification: B.Tech / DME Industry: Automotive / Auto Components / Manufacturing Compensation: 45,000.00 - 50,000.00 per month Benefits: Provident FundApplication Question(s): How many years of experience do you have in PPC / Production Planning in the Automotive or Auto Components industry Do you have experience in Day-wise and Line-wise Production Planning based on machine/manpower capacity Do you have experience in controlling RM, WIP and FG inventory through Minimum & Maximum Stock Levels What is your current CTC and expected CTC What is your notice period Work Location: In person .
