Scientific Business Analyst (Biotechnology & Informatica) We are seeking a Scientific Business Analyst with expertise in Biotechnology and Informatica ETL to support data integration, analytics, and digital transformation initiatives within the life sciences domain. The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, scientists, data engineers, and IT teams to gather requirements, analyze data, and support ETL processes using Informatica while ensuring data quality and regulatory compliance. Location: Remote/Noida Department: Data & Analytics / Life Sciences / Biotechnology Employment Type: Full-time Key Responsibilities Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements from biotechnology and life sciences stakeholders.Act as a liaison between business users, data engineering teams, and IT to translate business needs into technical solutions.Collaborate with Informatica ETL developers to design and implement data integration workflows.Analyze source-to-target data mappings and validate ETL requirements.Support data migration, data warehousing, and system integration projects.Create Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Functional Requirement Documents (FRDs), user stories, and process flows.Perform data analysis using SQL to validate business requirements and ETL outputs.Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT), defect tracking, and production validation.Ensure data quality, integrity, and compliance with regulatory standards such as GxP and 21 CFR Part 11.Work with cross-functional teams to improve reporting, dashboards, and business intelligence solutions.Assist in project planning, stakeholder communication, and change management activities.Required Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Biotechnology, Life Sciences, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, or Pharmaceutical industries.Strong understanding of Biotechnology and scientific/business processes.Hands-on experience working with Informatica PowerCenter, Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS), or similar Informatica ETL tools.Strong knowledge of ETL concepts, data warehousing, and data integration.Proficiency in SQL for querying and validating data.Experience with Agile/Scrum and SDLC methodologies.Excellent analytical, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.Preferred Qualifications Experience with Oracle, SQL Server, Snowflake, or other relational databases.Knowledge of data governance and master data management (MDM).Familiarity with Power BI, Tableau, or other reporting tools.Experience with Jira, Confluence, or Azure DevOps.Business Analysis certification (CBAP, CCBA, PMI-PBA) is a plus.Technical Skills Informatica PowerCenter / IICSETL Development ConceptsSQLData WarehousingData MappingSource-to-Target Mapping (STM)Data ValidationUATAgile/ScrumJiraConfluencePower BI / TableauDomain Skills BiotechnologyLife SciencesPharmaceutical DataClinical & Research DataRegulatory Compliance (GxP, FDA, 21 CFR Part 11)Soft Skills Strong communication and presentation skillsRequirements elicitation and documentationProblem-solving and analytical thinkingStakeholder managementCross-functional collaborationThis role is ideal for professionals who combine Biotechnology domain expertise with Business Analysis and Informatica ETL knowledge to deliver reliable, high-quality data integration solutions for life sciences organization.
