Role Overview As a core member of the Cloud Operations & Billing team, the Billing Expert independently executes and coordinates cloud billing activities across multiple scenarios and publishers(Microsoft Cloud, AWS, Google & SoftwareOne Managed Services offerings). The role applies specialised billing knowledge to resolve standard exceptions, ensure accurate financial outcomes, and maintain compliance with agreed controls and processes. Through reliable execution, peer support, and identification of recurring issues, the Billing Senior Expert contributes to improved billing quality, reduced rework, and stable operational performance. Key Responsibilities Executes accurate and timely cloud billing, including invoices, credits and rebills within established guidelinesProcesses highvolume billing transactions with guidance and review in line with publisher requirements, service standards, and internal controlsManages billingrelated exception handling to ensure accuracy, compliance, and revenue protectionSupport continuous improvement through standardisation, automation, and reduction of manual billing exceptionsProcess sales and purchase orders in line with publisher requirements, service standards, and internal controlsOwn billingrelated exception handling to ensure accuracy, compliance, and revenue protectionIdentifies recurring issues and contributes input to process and quality improvementsJob Requirements Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience from college or universityStrong written and verbal communication skills in EnglishProven expertise of Cloud billingDemonstrated problem-solving, consultative, and research abilitiesAbility to research and gather data from multiple sourcesAbility to multitask effectively while maintaining strong organizational skillsKnowledge of cloud billing, order processing, and subscription lifecycle operationsGood attention to detail with a focus on billing accuracy, compliance, and data qualityExperience managing billing exceptions, corrections, and reconciliationsAbility to handle highvolumes accuratelyCompany description SoftwareOne is a global provider of software and cloud solutions.
