Senior Duck Creek Billing P&C Insurance Role Overview We are seeking a skilled Duck Creek Policy Consultant with hands-on experience in Duck Creek Billing (DCB) within the P&C Insurance domain. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in billing processes, system configuration, and premium reconciliation, along with the ability to translate business requirements into scalable billing solutions. This role requires a strong functionaltechnical background and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams across the delivery lifecycle. Key Responsibilities Billing Delivery & Requirement Management Gather, analyze, and document requirements (BRDs, FRDs, user stories) focused on Duck Creek BillingUnderstand and configure billing processes including:Billing plans & schedulesInvoicing and payment processingCollections, dunning, and refundsIdentify and resolve premium mismatches within billing systemsSupport SIT/UAT, defect tracking, and release cycles Billing Configuration & Development Configure and support Duck Creek Billing (DCB) solutions using:Author (Manuscripts, XML/XSLT rules)Billing workflows and configurationsImplement and validate billing-related functionalities and enhancementsSupport integrations with external systems (payment gateways, finance systems, APIs)Work closely with development and QA teams to ensure high-quality delivery Data Validation & Reconciliation Perform data validation and reconciliation for billing transactionsAnalyze and troubleshoot discrepancies in billing dataSupport testing and validation of billing outputs Stakeholder Collaboration Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teamsParticipate in sprint ceremonies, workshops, and demosCommunicate project status, risks, and issues effectively Team Contribution Support junior team members on billing configurations and best practicesContribute to documentation, reusable assets, and process improvements Required Skills 48 years of experience in P&C Insurance IT, with strong focus on Duck Creek BillingStrong understanding of:Billing lifecycle (invoicing, payments, collections, refunds)Billing configuration and workflowsHands-on experience with:Duck Creek Author & ManuscriptsIntegration concepts (REST/SOAP APIs)Strong analytical and problem-solving skillsBasic understanding of SQL/data validationGood communication and stakeholder management skillsExperience working in Agile/Scrum environments Preferred Qualifications Bachelors degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related fieldDuck Creek Billing/Platform certification (preferred)Exposure to C#, .NET, and API integrationsExperience in implementation or production support projects EY | Building a better working world EY is building a better working world by creating new value for clients, people, society and the planet, while building trust in capital markets.
