Import Merchandising Consultant (Varanasi)

Import Merchandising Consultant Flair Rugs is seeking an Import Merchandising Consultant to partner with our Stock Control team. Youll oversee product flow from order to arrival, ensuring goods land on time and in full through close coordination with suppliers and internal contacts. What Youll Do - Manage purchase orders, delivery schedules, and stock pipelines. - Create container/loading plans and track supplier performance. - Support the critical path process and smooth fulfilment to warehouse. - Build strong, reliable supplier relationships. What Youll Bring - Experience in merchandising, imports, or supply chain coordination. - Excellent organisation, attention to detail, and confidence with data. - Proactive, solutions-focused mindset and strong communication skills. Its a plus if you also have: - Experience with container planning, stock control, or critical paths. - Familiarity with retail supply chains and high-volume SKUs. - Knowledge of international supply routes and supplier performance monitoring. - Experience supporting partner accounts or joint service-level management. Engagement - Independent consultancy (not employment). - Flexible arrangements; manage your own time and tax obligations. - Monthly consultancy fee agreed based on scope and experience. We are offering a full time consultancy engagement with a fee range of 7.8 to 9.5 lakh per year, depending on your experience, skills, and the agreed scope of work. This is a remote, independent contractor role, ideal for professionals with 24 years of relevant experience in import merchandising or supply coordination. .
