GST Litigation Manager (CA)

Job Description: Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Chartered Accountant / GST professional for the role of GST Manager to lead a team and manage end-to-end GST operations and compliance. The role is primarily focused on GST with strong ownership of departmental activities, compliance, and team management. Key Responsibilities / KRA: Independently handle GST notices, scrutiny, departmental audits, investigations and proceedings.Draft replies to GST notices, SCNs, audit objections and demand orders.Prepare appeals, grounds of appeal and detailed written submissions.Analyse GST provisions, notifications, circulars, rulings and relevant case laws.Assist in adjudication and appellate proceedings and coordinate with authorities/clients.Develop appropriate litigation strategy based on facts and applicable law.Review client GST records to identify litigation risks and tax exposures.Coordinate directly with CFOs, finance teams and promoters for facts and documentation ad ongoing GST AuditMaintain comprehensive case-wise documentation and litigation trackers.Handle multiple matters simultaneously and ensure all statutory deadlines are met.Support senior professionals/partners on complex GST advisory and litigation matters.Guide and review work of junior team members. Key Skills: Strong GST technical knowledge, litigation drafting, case-law research, analytical ability, client handling and excellent written communication. .
